Ohm’s Law (Voltage, Current, and Resistance)

The relationship between voltage, current, and resistance is given by:

V = I × R

Where:

  • V is the voltage (Volts)
  • I is the current (Amps)
  • R is the resistance (Ohms)

Power Formula (Voltage, Current, and Power)

The relationship between power, voltage, and current is:

P = V × I

Where:

  • P is the power (Watts)
  • V is the voltage (Volts)
  • I is the current (Amps)

Power with Resistance (Using Ohm’s Law)

The power can also be calculated using resistance:

P = I² × R

Or:

P = V² / R

Where:

  • P is the power (Watts)
  • V is the voltage (Volts)
  • I is the current (Amps)
  • R is the resistance (Ohms)
